SkillsUSA Holds Fundraiser

 

The SkillsUSA organization at Labette Community College will have a Crazy Debbie’s Fireworks stand as a fundraiser, located 25012 HWY 59 Parsons. SkillsUSA focuses on Career/Technical Programs for students. Students will learn leadership and employability skills along with competing at local, state and national levels.

 

The fireworks fundraiser will help support the Career Technical Education activities at LCC and support SkillsUSA students who are enrolled in vocational courses. Career Technical Education includes Computer Science Networking, Criminal Justice, Culinary Arts, Financial Services, Graphic Design, Nursing, Office Technology, Radiography, Recording Arts Technology, and Respiratory Care. The LCC SkillsUSA participate in many activities including career fairs, community service, professional development, championship competitions, social activities, public relations, and employment awareness.

 

Students will manage the Crazy Debbie’s Firework stand from June 29-July3, 8am-midnight, and July 4 from 8am-7pm.
