#23 Rachel Amershek
Infield
Freshman - Frontenac, Kansas
Frontenac HS: A four-year starter at the hot corner Rachel earned four All-Conference selections during her career. She was also a three-time All-County choice. As a rookie in 2011 she was named All-State second team and the Conference Freshman of the Year. She also participated in basketball, volleyball, and National Honors Society.
Personal: Rachel Jolynn Amershek was born May 18, 1996 to Tim Amershek and Amy Amershek. She has one brother Justin and is majoring in Nursing.
#18 Katy Armstrong
Catcher/Designated Hitter
Freshman - Bartlesville, Oklahoma
Bartlesville HS: A successful prep career included two first team All-Conference selections for Katy...She also played summer ball for the Oklahoma Adrenaline where she helped she hit 46 career home runs. She helped her team to a 2014 State Championship and fifth place finish at the National Tournament. She also participated in basketball, track, FFA, and FCA. Personal: Katy Jo Armstrong was born December 23, 1995 to Mitch Armstrong and Liesa Armstrong. She has six siblings Mariesa, Corina, Mariah, Chloe, Livie, and Hollister. She is majoring in Pre-Veterinarian Medicine.
#17 Sam Bonner
Catcher
Sophomore - Frontenac, Kansas
Freshman: In her first season Sam started all 49 games behind the plate for the Lady Cardinals. During that time she hit .364 with 19 RBI, 30 runs scored, four doubles, and was second on the team with five home runs. She was named first team All-KJCCC, All-Region, NFCA All-South Region, and second team NFCA All-American. Also a successful student she was named to the Academic All-KJCCC team.
Frontenac HS: A four-year starter she helped the Lady Raiders to two region championships including a second place finish at the state tournament in 2011. She was a four-time All-Conference selection and earned two first team All-State honors.
Personal: Samantha Marie Bonner was born March 14, 1995 to Luis Bonner and Angela Bonner and has one brother Matt. She is majoring in Elementary Education.
#1 Alix Boulanger
Middle Infield
Freshman - Eureka, Kansas
Eureka-Senior HS: A four-year member of the varsity program Alix was a three-time All-Conference selection. Off the field she partcipated in volleyball, basketball, FFA, and 4-H. She was a four-year member of the Honor Roll.
Personal: Alixandria Nicole Boulanger was born July 21, 1996 to Brad and Annissa Boulanger. She has two siblings Haylee and Wylee and is majoring in Pre-Medicine.
#7 Alex Brake
Pitcher
Freshman - Webb City, Missouri
Webb City HS: Alex played three seasons at WCHS where she was named All-District as a junior. She helped the Lady Cardinals to three district championships including third place finishes in Class 4A in 2010 and 2011. She played summer ball for the Missouri Worth Prospects where during the 2013 season she totaled 534 strikeouts in just 348 innings. Off the field she was a member of the swimming team where she qualified for the state meet and holds the school record for the 200 meter medley.
Personal: Alexandra Leah Brake was born December 14, 1995 to Terry and Jeanie Brake and has one sister Stefanie. She is majoring in Physical Therapy.
#21 Sarah Brown
Infield
Freshman - Claremore, Oklahoma
Claremore HS: A member of the successful program at Claremore High School Sarah helpd her team to a district and region championship and appearance at the State Final Four as a senior. She was twice named All-Conference and was selected All-Region and All-State in her final season. Off the field she was a member of the National Honors Society and is a Claremore Alumni Scholar.
Personal: Sarah Jo Brown was June 2, 1996 to Andy Brown and Johnna Morgan and has one sister Abbey. She is majoring in Liberal Studies.
#13 Nayna Fields
First Base
Sophomore - Frontenac, Kansas
Freshman: In her debut season Nayna started every game at first base for LCC. During that time she hit .348 with 27 RBI, 33 runs scored, six doubles, two triples, two home runs, and was second on the team with 16 stolen bases. For her work she was named first team All-KJCCC and second team All-Region. Also successful in the classroom she was named to the Academic All-KJCCC team.
Frontenac HS: During her prep career Nayna helped the Raiders to two region championships and a second place finish at the state tournament in 2011. She was a four-time All-Conference and All-County selection. She was also a three-time All-State choice including being a unanimous first team honoree as a senior. She was also a three-time All-Conference volleyball player leading her team to a region title in 2012.
Personal: Nayna Jean Fields was born June 30, 1995 to Dusty Fields and Samantha Restivo. She has one younger sister Sydney and is majoring in Elementary Education. She is also a member of the LCC Cheerleading squad.
#2 Samantha Gilstrap
Outfield
Freshman - Webb City, Missouri
Webb City HS: A four-year letter winner Sam helped her team to four district championships and three appearances at the Class 4A State Final Four. During that time the Lady Cardinals finished third in 2010 and 2011 and second in 2013. As a senior she was named second team All-District and All-Conference. Off the field she was also an All-District soccer player.
Personal: Samantha Dawn Gilstrap was born March 11, 1996 to Bob Gilstrap and Dawn Chaney. She has one sister Sara is undecided on an academic major.
#10 Jessica Greninger
Outfield
Freshman - Joplin, Missouri
Joplin HS: Jessica started every game of her high school career at JHS. She was a three-time first team All-Conference and All-District selection as well as earning a place on the Miami All-Tournament team. As a senior she was named of the Ozark Conference Player of the Year. She also participated in basketball, FBLA, and FCA.
Personal: Jessica Michaela Greninger was born September 4, 1995 to Mike and Sherry Greninger and has one sister Shelby. She is majoring in Liberal Studies.
#4 Ali Gutc
Outfield
Freshman - Bartlesville, Oklahoma
Bartlesville HS: A four-year letterman at BHS Ali was named All-District Honorable Mention as a senior. She was a member of the 2010 Lady Bruin team that won a region championship and finished third in Class 6A. She played summer ball for the Oklahoma Adrenaline where she led her team to a 2014 State Championship and fifth place finish at the national tournament.
Personal: Ali Rae Gutc was born December 21, 1995 to Randy Gutc and Janet Ross. She has one brother Todd and is majoring in Graphic Design.
#11 Chelsea LaPee
Pitcher
Sophomore - Chetopa, Kansas
Freshman: In her first season in an LCC unfiorm Chelsea went 15-8 in the circle. She also totaled 52 strikeouts, 20 walks, and a 3.60 ERA. Offensively she hit .196 with seven RBI, eight runs scored, and four doubles. She was named Honorable Mention All-KJCCC and second team All-Region.
Chetopa HS: A four-year standout in the circle for the Hornets Chelsea helpd her team to the first region championship in program history as a freshman, and repeated as a junior. She went on earn four All-Conference selections and two All-State honors. Off the field she participated in National Honors Society and was a Student Ambassador. She also earned All-Conference honors on the volleyball court after winning a region championship as a senior.
Personal: Chelsea Marie LaPee was born June 9, 1995 to Jim and Debbie Green and has one brother Nick. She is majoring in Nursing.
#19 Hanna Million
Outfield
Freshman - Diamond, Missouri
Diamond HS: Playing her final prep season under former LCC Lady Cardinal catcher Kelsey Henson (10'), Hanna was named second team All-State and the Conference Player of the Year. She was also a four-time All-Conference and All-District selection as well as a three-time All-Region choice. She was a recipient of the U.S. Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award. Off the field she was a three-time All-Conference basketball player and a member of FFA, and FTA.
Personal: Hanna Laryn Million was born December 20, 1995 to Bruce and Tammie Million. She is majoring in Secondary Education.
#3 Haley Pitts
Pitcher
Freshman - Girard, Kansas
Girard HS: A four-year letterwinner, Haley helped her program to two perfect regular seasons in 2011 and 2014. She was a three-time All-Conference selection during her career in the circle. As a freshman she was a part of the Lady Trojan team that won a region championship and finished fourth in Class 3A. She also participated in volleyball and was a member of National Honors Society, FFA, FBLA, and Student Council.
Personal: Haley Ellen Pitts was born June 25, 1996 to David and Kim Pitts. She has two sisters Katy and Kacy and is majoring in Radiology.
#22 Abby Shirley
Catcher
Freshman - Newton, Kansas
Hesston HS: Abby earned four varsity letters during her career at HHS. She was twice named All-Conference and spent four years on the Honor Roll. She also participated in volleyball.
Personal: Abigail Rebecca Shirley was born December 3, 1996 to Rick and Dawn Shirley. She has five siblings Rachael, Jordan, Emily, Joshua, and Grace. She is majoring in Physical Therapy.
#9 Katy Taylor
Middle Infield
Freshman - Owasso, Oklahoma
Owasso HS: A three-year member for the Lady Rams Katy helped her team to two region championships and a second place finish in the state tournament in 2011. She played summer ball for the Oklahoma Adrenaline where she led her team to a 2014 State Championship and fifth place finish at the national tournament. She also lettered in basketball and track.
Personal: Katelynn Marie Taylor was born July 26, 1996 to David and Patricia Taylor. She has two brothers Dalton and Zack and she is majoring in Health and Physical Education.
