LCC Dental Assisting Program Seeking Public Comment

January 19, 2021. Parsons KS. Labette Community College is seeking comments from the public about the Dental Assisting program in preparation for its evaluation by the American Dental Association for programmatic accreditation. The program will undergo a comprehensive evaluation visit May 5th through May 6th, 2021 by a team representing the American Dental Association. The team will review the program’s ongoing ability to meet the Commission on Dental Accreditation’s Accreditation Standards for Dental Assisting Education Programs.

 

The public is invited to submit comments regarding LCC’s Dental Assisting program to the following: Commission on Dental Accreditation, 211 East Chicago Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611, phone 1-800-621-8099 (ext. 4563). Comments must address substantive matters related to the Accreditation Standards as they relate to the LCC’s Dental Assisting program, or to the policies and procedures used in the accreditation process by the Commission of Dental Accreditation. Comments must be signed and signatures will be removed from comments prior to them being forwarded to the program.
