LCC Virtual Auction a Success

Parsons, KS- The preliminary numbers for the 2021 Labette Community College Foundation Online Auction raised over $35,000. The funds raised will be used to fund student scholarships for the 2021-22 academic year.
The 22st annual auction was supported by 121 bidders, 30 sponsors, and 131 auction items donated by 99 donors.
“We are absolutely thrilled with the support for our second online auction for scholarships,” said LCC Foundation Executive Director, Lindi Forbes. “The generosity of the community contributed greatly to the success of the auction. The Foundation is still accepting cash donations for scholarships.”
The annual Auction for Scholarships was shifted from an in-person event to an online auction because of COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.
