Cardinal Madness

Hey Cardinal Fans, Labette Community College (LCC) is kicking off the home conference play with Cardinal Madness on Wednesday, January 18, 2023! This brand-new event was created by the LCC Spirit Squad, Cardinal Crew, and Student Government Association. This event is to help pack the gym in the new Zetmeir Family Athletic Complex to cheer on the Cardinal basketball teams, who will be opening conference play against the Kansas City Kansas Community College Blue Devils. Free Cardinal Madness t-shirts will be distributed to the first 100 Cardinal fans in attendance. Fans will have the chance to take part in the half-time contests and a free nacho bar will be provided.
Our #9 nationally ranked women’s team will begin at 5:30 pm, followed by the men at 7:30 pm.
“We hope Cardinal Madness becomes a tradition that gets bigger and better,” stated Lindi Forbes, LCC Spirit Squad Sponsor. “We would like to make it an annual event that grows in the future to include all sports teams in a fun way to gain more community and campus support!”
