LCC Auction for Scholarships Date and Theme Selected

Step right up and join Labette Community College (LCC) under the "Big Top" on Saturday, April 15, 2023, to support the 24th annual Auction for Scholarships! This year’s auction is sponsored by McCarty Office Machines, Inc. and will feature live and silent auction items.
"The Auction for Scholarships is the largest annual fundraising effort for student scholarships," said Lindi Forbes, LCC Foundation Executive Director. "The vintage circus theme was selected because we love the idea of incorporating the showmanship of the circus and the fun that goes with it. Our scholarship auctions are always enjoyable and a great way to help students further their education."
The Foundation is currently seeking support for this event that helps students reach their educational goals. Individuals and businesses can support the future success of LCC students by donating, purchasing a sponsorship or catalog advertisement, attending the auction, or doing all of the above. A list of sponsorship levels can be found at labette.edu/foundation/auction.
The in-person event will begin at 6:30 p.m., and the Foundation will also host an online auction from Friday, April 7 to Sunday, April 16, for anyone living far away or who may be unable to attend.
"Last year, we raised $52,550.00," said Forbes, "which is the highest grossing auction ever. We hope to surpass that record this year."
Other than sponsor levels, admission is $30.00 per person or $50.00 per couple. The ticket includes appetizers and dinner provided by Labette Health and an evening filled with fun! Call 620-820-1281 to purchase your advance tickets.
