Labette Community College Hosts Cardinal Madness Coloring Contest for Local Elementary Students

Parsons, KS – Labette Community College is excited to announce its Cardinal Madness Coloring Contest, inviting elementary students from the community to showcase their creativity by coloring our newest mascot, Caroline the Cardinal! The contest will give students the opportunity to show off their artwork all over downtown Parsons!

Submission Deadlines and Display Details:
Print off the coloring sheet assigned to your grade to enter! All completed entries must be submitted to the LCC Business Office by Tuesday, January 29. Artwork will be proudly displayed in the windows of downtown Parsons businesses from February 3 to February 20, providing a vibrant showcase of students’ creativity for the entire community to enjoy.

Contest Prizes and Recognition:
Winners will be announced on Thursday, February 6, with prizes awarded for first, second, and third place in each grade level.

First Place: LCC swag bag and a certificate.

Second and Third Place: A certificate and an LCC cup filled with candy.

All winners will be honored during halftime at the LCC Women’s Basketball Game on Wednesday, February 12, which begins at 5:30 PM. For those unable to attend, alternate prize distribution arrangements will be made.
