Local Businesses and Organizations Connect with LCC Students at Cardinal Connect Fall 2025

Parsons, KS – Labette Community College (LCC) recently hosted its Fall 2025 Cardinal Connect Business Showcase in the Cardinal Event Center, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This annual event brought together 16 local businesses, including The Cardinal Station and Parsons Police Department.

Students who engaged in meaningful interactions with at least five different businesses received a complimentary lunch and were entered into a drawing for a $100 Visa gift card – an incentive to put themselves out there.

“Cardinal Connect is a great opportunity from both perspectives, and I’m glad our students and the community continue to partake in it every semester,” said Hannah Kennedy, Director of Public Relations at LCC.

Overall, the showcase reinforced its role as a bridge between LCC students and businesses and organizations within our community —offering a platform for networking and the potential to spark future opportunities.
