Cherokee Center

The Cherokee Center was established by Labette Community College in 2008 to better serve students of southeast Kansas. It is conveniently located on the border of Cherokee and Crawford county at the intersection of US 69 & Highway 400.

• 14,000 sq foot, ten acre lot renovated in 2008
• 7 classrooms, 1 computer lab and student lounge area
• Vending machine and microwave access
• Television and study tables in student lounge area
• Math tutoring (schedule varies by semester)
• Bookstore services available

Placement Testing

For non-traditional students or those who have not taken an ACT test we offer ACCUPLACER placement testing. The ACCUPLACER test is an untimed placement test covering reading, english and math.
