The Cherokee Center was established by Labette Community College in 2008 to better serve students of southeast Kansas. It is conveniently located on the border of Cherokee and Crawford county at the intersection of US 69 & Highway 400.

Placement Testing

For non-traditional students or those who have not taken an ACT test we offer ACCUPLACER placement testing. The ACCUPLACER test is an untimed placement test covering reading, english and math. Test scores will be used to place the student in the appropriate level course. View the Student Success Center Placement Testing page for more information.
