History

Historians research and interpret past events, and the program emphasizes critical thinking, so history can be a gateway to a variety of careers including journalism, the law, and education.

After graduation, students transfer to Kansas and out-of-state universities. After finishing a bachelor’s degree, and additional schooling, many history majors become history professors, lawyers, and museum directors.
