Parsons, KS— Labette Community College Public Relations students, in conjunction with the Galesburg Relief Fund, are hosting a breakfast and bake sale from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on April 18 at the Galesburg Relief Fund Building, 7015 Kingman Road in Galesburg, Kansas. All proceeds from the breakfast and bake sale benefit the Galesburg Relief Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting individuals and families facing unexpected crisis.
Guests can enjoy biscuits and gravy with eggs and sausage for a free-will donation. During the event, Relief Fund members Justin Kramer and Dan Miller, will share information about the organization’s mission and highlight the impact of community support through stories of those who have benefited from the fund.
“We would love to have the building full. Everyone is welcome,” said Justin Kramer, a member of the organization.
A bake sale will also be held, featuring a variety of items including cookies, brownies and cupcakes. Cookie flavors include sugar, red velvet, peanut butter and snickerdoodle. Preorders will be accepted April 1–10, with pickup available during the event and delivery upon request. Cookies are available by the dozen, with prices ranging from $14 to $15 depending on the flavor.
