Fall Transfer Fair

Fall Transfer Fair

The Labette Community College (LCC) Advising Center has scheduled its Fall Transfer Fair for Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 9 to 12 p.m. in the campus Breezeway on the main campus.

This event is for students planning to continue their education after graduating from Labette Community College.

Representatives from various four-year universities will attend to help students plan their bachelor's degree transfer options.

The goal of the Transfer Fair is to bring local colleges and universities to the LCC campus, and to provide continuing education awareness, as well as options to students for their future education.

The college expects to have close to 20 or more higher learning institutions exhibiting at the event.

Students can explore programs and discover degree options and academic majors available after graduation from LCC. They can learn how their LCC Course credits transfer to four-year universities. Also, students can gather details on university-specific transfer scholarships and financial aid.

LCC maintains active core Transfer Equivalency Partnerships with regional institutions, many of whom attend these fairs. Through the Kansas Independent College Association (KICA), LCC also maintains transfer agreements with various private and independent institutions.

If you have questions before or after the fair about transfers, Academic Advisors can be found in the Advising Center located inside the Student Success Center.
