The LCC Foundation & Alumni Association introduced the “Cardinal Generational Family” recognition as part of LCC’s 100-Year celebration in 2023-2024. This tradition honors families with deep, multigenerational ties to the institution.

Each selected family is recognized at a home athletic event, where they receive an award in front of the crowd. Their family portrait is then displayed in the Gallery of Cardinal Generational Families, located in the Zetmeir Family Athletic Complex. All past recipients, invited guests, and the public are encouraged to attend the celebration. Nominations for this recognition are accepted year-round.
