Together, We Invest in Student Success!

The Cardinal Commitment Campaign is Labette Community College’s faculty and staff giving initiative, designed to celebrate the collective impact we can make when we invest in our students and our college.

Our goal is to have the highest participation possible.

Every employee who chooses to give, regardless of the amount, helps send a powerful message: the people who know LCC best believe in our students, our mission, and the work we do every day. Strong faculty and staff participation demonstrates internal commitment, builds confidence among alumni, businesses, foundations, and other supporters, and can inspire even greater investment in LCC.

Whether it’s $2, $5, $10, or more through payroll deduction, every gift matters, and every participant moves us closer to our goal.

Make Your Cardinal Commitment

Participating is easy! Faculty and staff can make a gift through convenient payroll deduction and choose where their support will make a difference.

Gifts may be designated to the Area of Greatest Need, Student Scholarships, or another eligible LCC fund that is meaningful to you. Simply use the “Other” designation on the form to support areas such as the Hungry Cardinal Fund, Student Pantry, Cardinal Kindness Fund for students in crisis, Art Acquisition Fund, an academic program, athletics, student organization, or another eligible LCC fund.

Already giving to LCC through payroll deduction? You’re already part of the Cardinal Commitment Campaign! Current employee payroll donors are included in the campaign and eligible for Winner Wednesday drawings. (Payroll deductions for outstanding purchases or other payments are not considered charitable gifts.)

A Grand Prize Worth Cheering About!

One Cardinal Commitment participant will receive something extra special at the end of the academic year: a one-of-a-kind original Cardinal painting created and donated by LCC Foundation Board Past President Lorraine Evert!

Every eligible campaign participant will have an opportunity to win this unique piece of Cardinal art when our Grand Prize Winner is announced in May.
