Head Volleyball Coach
The Head Volleyball Coach is responsible for the recruitment, supervision and placement of students who are skilled in the areas of competitive volleyball at the college level. The Coach must have basic knowledge of the fundamentals of volleyball, be able to establish rapport with the athletes, media and college personnel, have knowledge of eligibility requirements, possess good organization and communication skills, be able to promote the volleyball program, build a season and pre-season schedule, and evaluate all aspects of the volleyball program.
Required Qualifications include a valid driver’s license, bachelor’s degree or equivalent volleyball coaching experience and an associate’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications include 3 years of coaching college volleyball and/or athletic team statistics experience preferred.
The schedule includes attending all games and practices while in season. Supplemental insurances are also offered.
The salary range is based on education and experience to begin at $35,430 annually. This is a 12-month, exempt position. The position remains open until filled. Applications will be reviewed as received.
