LCC Hosts Indie Lens Pop Up- Newtown

Parsons, KS- Indie Lens Pop-Up, presented by ITVS, Independent Lens, and Labette Community College will present Newtown. The independent lens film will be a look into the 2012 mass school shooting in Newton, Connecticut.

A free film screening will be previewed Tuesday, March 14 at 6:00pm at the Remnant Cafe. Doors open at 5:30pm with free chili and cinnamon rolls for the first 20 customers. Drinks and other food will be available for purchase.

Following the film screening, Parsons Police Chief Jason Sharp, and Security Supervisor and Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for Labette Health Neil Springer will lead a panel discussion of the film.
