LCC Hosts Pack the Pantry

Parsons, KS- The Caring Cardinal Committee (C3) at Labette Community College is hosting a pack the pantry event September 18-29 for the LCC student food pantry.

The Phi Theta Kappa honor society began the student food pantry in 2015 as part of a College Project. During the 2016-2017 school year, the pantry assisted over 150 different students. The pantry has averaged about 60 students a week this semester. The pantry is open to students each Wednesday that classes are in session.

Individuals or businesses able to donate food, paper products and cleaning supplies are encouraged to drop items off at the LCC Library, LCC Cardinal Café, Remnant Café, or the Victory Life Center is Pittsburg until September 29.
