PSU Student Hendershot Gallery Display

October 25, 2017

Parsons, KS-- Work from students in Pittsburg State University’s Graphics and Imaging Technologies Program is now on display in Hendershot Gallery on the Labette Community College campus.

Thanks to the efforts of PSU Associate Professor David Oldham, work produced by his students will be showcased until November 17th.

Oldham noted that some work represents senior projects, major projects that bring together a variety of skills.  According to Oldham, many of his students have chosen Packaging Graphics as their emphasis—one of six areas of emphasis that PSU’s program offers. Students in this area produce containers, boxes, labels, logos, advertising and other items for a product and produce detailed facsimiles of that product.

The work of Pittsburg State University graphic design students will be on display from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. M-Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Fridays. For more information about this show, contact Gallery Director Mike Brotherton at 820.1037.
