LCC Foundation to Host Online Auction to Benefit Students

The Labette Community College Foundation will launch an Online Auction on Saturday, September 26th. The auction will remain open for bidding until Sunday, Oct. 4th. The online auction will support scholarships and capital improvements.
“Over 150 businesses and individuals have donated over $25,000 in goods and services that will be available for online bidding to support LCC student needs,” said LCC Foundation Executive Director, Lindi Forbes.
The LCC Foundation has the opportunity to receive a $500,000 challenge grant from the Mabee Foundation, to help complete the LCC Athletic & Academic Complex capital campaign. Online Auction bidders will have the opportunity to support the capital campaign as well as student scholarships this year. The LCC Foundation must raise $650,010 by January 14, 2021 to earn the $500,000 grant to complete the campaign.
