LCC PBL Qualifies for National Competition

The Labette Community College Phi Beta Lambda business organization traveled to Emporia State University for the state leadership conference held March 5-6. Three LCC students attended the conference, each qualifying to compete at the National Leadership conference in Chicago, Illinois in June.
“Our students continue to qualify for the national conference each year. Their tenacity and work ethic impress me,” said PBL advisor, Cathy Kibler.
Fiona Bartelli earned 1st place in Justice Administration, 2nd place in Desktop Publishing and Forensic Accounting and was awarded Who’s Who in Kansas Phi Beta Lambda. Braden Hale was awarded 1st place in Personal Finance, 2nd place in Information Management, 3rd Place in Impromptu Speaking and Who’s Who in Kansas Phi Beta Lambda. Taylore Hudgins earned 1stplace in Impromptu Speaking and Public Speaking along with earning Who’s Who in Kansas Phi Beta Lambda.
