Application/Enrollment Procedures

Thank you for your interest in Labette Community College. We consider it a privilege to assist you as you pursue your academic goals. Please follow the steps below to complete the Admissions process.

New Students - have not attended LCC previously:

  1. Complete the Admissions Application:
(International Students see link on the left side of page, all other students see links below.)
    • Online at http://redzone.labette.edu/ics/Admissions
It is necessary to complete all of the application. Some data items are essential for institutional purposes, others are required by the Kansas Board of Regents and/or State Legislature.  Incomplete forms will not be accepted.

  2. Submit placement scores such as ACT, SAT, or ACCUPLACER and/or transcript(s). If you have graduated from high school within the last three years, a high school transcript evaluation can be completed for enrollment into classes at LCC. If college coursework has been completed, those courses will also need to be evaluated prior to enrollment at Labette.
    • Unofficial transcripts will be accepted for initial enrollment.
    • Official transcripts from all prior colleges/universities, as well as high school, must be sent to Admissions if you plan to complete a degree and/or apply for Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA).

  3. Once you have submitted your application and transcript(s), you may discuss enrollment with an Advisor.

    • If you submit your application/transcript(s), the Admissions Office will assist you with information regarding contacting an advisor for your major. Please contact Admissions at 620.820.1264 or by emailing admissions@labette.edu.
