LCC Hosts Community Cinema

Parsons, Kansas-- Labette Community College and Ozark Public Television will be present a Community Cinema Stray Dog. This film documents a motorcycle-riding Vietnam veteran.
From the director of the Oscar-nominated Winter’s Bone, comes a portrait of Ronnie “Stray Dog” Hall. There’s more than meets the eye; behind the tattoos and leather vest is a man dedicated to helping his fellow vets and immigrant family as he also come to terms with his combat experience.
A free preview screening of Stray Dog will be held Tuesday, October 20th at 6:30pm in the Labette Community College Thiebaud Theatre. Admission is free and the event is open to the public.
The film screening will be followed by a discussion by special guest speaker and film subject Ronnie “Stray Dog” Hall.
