LCC to Host Annual Student Award Ceremony

Labette Community College (LCC) will hold the annual Student Award Ceremony on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Thiebaud Theatre on the second floor of the main building. This special event serves as a platform to honor students for their outstanding achievements in academics and leadership, as well as their active participation in college clubs and organizations.
A highlight of the ceremony will be the presentation of the Top 20 Cardinal Awards, which recognizes students who have demonstrated exemplary dedication and contributions towards enhancing the LCC community. Recipients of this award have gone above and beyond in their academic performance, college involvement, and community engagement.
The ceremony will feature numerous other student awards and will culminate with the installation of new Student Government officers, symbolized by the ceremonial “passing of the gavel” from the current President to the incoming President.
Through this event, LCC demonstrates its commitment to recognizing and fostering leadership and active participation among its student body.
